You have access to some of Norway's most beautiful hiking trails, right from the center of Beitostølen. Whether you want a quiet stroll in the forest or a summit hike with a view, there is a hike to suit.
Recommended tours:
- Synshorn – airy but accessible mountain hike (approx. 2 hours round trip)
- Bitihorn – classic mountain peak with views over Valdres
- Knutshøe – "the little sister of Besseggen", a fantastic round trip for experienced hikers
- Family-friendly trails such as Skjenhaugen and Tutjern–Melbyfjellet
