Join us for a completely unique weekend when Norway's first Garlic Festival takes place at Beitostølen! 

In September, we put garlic in the spotlight and celebrate its fantastic taste, history and health-giving properties – with an extra focus on the local Valdres garlic, which originated in Valdres Prison and is now grown all over Norway.

At Riddergaarden We invite you to a nourishing yoga retreat led by experienced Christine Trulsrud, an Ashtanga teacher with over 10 years of experience. 

Norwegian Rakfisk Festival 2026

From November 5-7, Fagernes will transform into a vibrant festival town with food, music and authentic rural culture in focus.

Beitosprint 2026

The Norwegian Mountain Marathon 2027

June 4th - 6th

For the 46th time, we invite young and old exercise runners to an unforgettable weekend at Beitostølen.

The trails follow the national tourist route over Valdresflye, with views of Jotunheimen and surroundings that will take your breath away.
