Fast-paced fun in Beitostølen Summer Park

Right in the heart of Beitostølen you will find the popular Summer Park , an activity park that offers fun for the whole family. Here it is fun to be a child – and great to be an adult on holiday with children! Children can whizz around in electric mini cars, jump their way through the trampoline or compete in the fast-paced stock car track that winds down the mountain. For older children and adults, the chairlift awaits you that will take you to the top of the mountain.

The chairlift is not only a fun experience in itself – it also provides a perfect start to the mountain tour. If you want to bring a bike, that is entirely possible! Please note that children under 10 years of age (or under 140 cm) must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age on the chairlift.

Whether you just want a cup of coffee in the sun, or celebrate a day of new experiences – here you will find the good holiday feeling.

Climbing experience out of the ordinary: Synshorn Via Ferrata

Fancy a mountain experience a little out of the ordinary? Then you should try Synshorn Via Ferrata – a spectacular and safe climbing tour along the mountain wall between the lakes Bygdin and Vinstervann. With fixed wires and steel crampons in the mountain, and professional guides leading the way, this is an activity that is suitable for those who want to challenge themselves – without the need for climbing experience.

The route takes you 400 meters up to the top of Synshorn, offering fantastic views and an adrenaline-filled, but safe experience. The trip normally lasts around four hours and is suitable for everyone over 12 years old. You will be given a climbing harness and helmet, but you should bring good shoes, comfortable gloves, food and drink – and clothes for the weather.

And what awaits after the trip? Yes – freshly baked waffles and something refreshing to drink at Bygdinstøga. The perfect end to a memorable day in the mountains.
